The Barley Mob
The Barley Mob are a six piece group of talented and lively musicians widely acclaimed for their must-see live performances. Those in the know say “a BarleyMob gig is good for your soul, you’ll be uplifted and left feeling like you’ve been a part of something truly unique and invigorating.” The Barley Mob is more than just a band making their way in the world, they’re a rising tide of positive energy sweeping across the land raising the spirits of the Irish people with their songs of hope and revolution!
The Barley Mob’s music does not fall neatly into any one genre. Listen to their debut album and you’ll discover a fresh blend of uplifting music embellished with infectious beats, folk jigs, soulful melodies and rock riffs. Its varied range and mix harvests the mood of the country from despair and discontent to a simmering sense of revolt imbued with resilience and hope for a better future. Their repertoire resonates with crowds that did not take to the streets but instead danced and sang to songs such as “Everybody’s Music”, “Stand Up, Rise Up, Big Up” and “You’ll Never Be Lost When You’ve Got Music”.

The Bionic Rats
The Bionic Rats formed out of the ashes of Dublin reggae outfit Kingsativa. They mix the rhythms of Ska, 2tone, Reggae & Rocksteady into their own special brew of Jamaican soul and Irish heart.
Since forming they’ve shared the stage with many of their musical influences, opening up for the likes of MADNESS, BAD MANNERS, Bob Marley’s mentor LEE ‘SCRATCH’ PERRY, HORACE ANDY (of Massive Attack fame), ISRAEL VIBRATION, JOHNNY CLARKE, THE JOLLY BOYS, IMELDA MAY, DAMIEN DEMPSEY and THE INFOMATICS to name but a few. The band are currently working on album number 3.
