Music Education Projects

The Musical Youth Foundation is working to establish long-term Music Education Partnerships with Community Centres, Youth Groups and Schools across Ireland. Each partnership is entered into with a long-term view. This allows us to have the greatest impact and to encourage past participants to remain involved and pass on their acquired musical knowledge to a new generation of young musicians.

To register your Community Centre, Youth Group or School’s interest in establishing a Music Education Partnership with the Musical Youth Foundation email our CEO.

Guitars for Kids

As part of our ‘Guitars for Kids’ music education programme we provide professional weekly tuition, supervised practise sessions, singing, song-writing and performance workshops along with live performance opportunities.

Song Club

This is an exciting new project we’re preparing as part of our Music Changed My Life event. More details coming soon.

Other Instruments

We’ve got lots of other specialist Music Education Programmes in the pipeline. Our intention is to offer professional tuition in all instruments as funds allow.

Instrument Bank

The Musical Youth Foundation also operates an Instrument Bank, whereby we re-home your old/unwanted instruments with children across Ireland that otherwise wouldn’t get the chance to play a musical instrument. With your support we’ve already provided hundreds of instruments to vulnerable children around Ireland including; drums, keyboards, trumpets, saxophones, flutes, violins and of course guitars (electric & acoustic).
