Happy Birthday MYF
The Musical Youth Foundation children’s charity celebrated four years of changing lives through music with a special concert in the Button Factory, Dublin last night!
Headlining the show for the Musical Youth Foundation were Dublin City Soul Festival favourites The BaRLey MOB with support from The Bionic Rats. Both bands delivered their customary crowd pleasing performances making the night a memorable one for all concerned. When the bar and floor staff in a concert venue compliment the musical line-up you know you’ve witnessed something special – afterall they’re subject to live music most nights of the week as part of their jobs and are all too often bored to tears, there’s only so many live shows anyone can take in a week before boredom sets in. So hats off to The Barley Mob & The Bionic Rats – if’ you’ve not had a chance to catch them live yet we recommend it as a guaranteed enjoyable experience!
Here’s a clip of what you might have missed…
Don’t miss the next MYF gig on Friday December 20th featuring two great bands, The Goods and Soul Power both of whom will take to the stage in the Button Factory at the same time! Those of us in the know, having seen the bands perform at the annual Soul Festival in Merrion Square Park will know this is one of those concerts you just don’t want to miss!
