Vocal Chords Book Launch by Maeve O’Sullivan

Maeve O’Sullivan’s latest book of poems,  ‘Vocal Chords’ will be launched by poet Damian Smyth and Alba Publishing on Thursday  the 20th of February at 7pm in the Teachers’ Club on 36 Parnell Square West in Dublin.

Maeve and her publisher, Alba Publishing are very kindly offering a generous 30% of profits from the sale of the book to the Musical Youth Foundation. The MYF plans to use the funds raised to help launch our own vocal chords project – a progamme to bring the joy and benefit of group singing to at-risk young people from some of Dublin’s toughest areas.

Come and join in the fun and excitement in the Teachers Club on Parnell Square to help celebrate the launch of Maeves’ latest book of poems and pick up your copy before anyone else! On the night there will be poems (of course) from Maeve and Damian along with some music too from a variety of special guests.
