Table Quiz Success
On Wednesday March 5th 2015 members of our volunteer team put on a Table Quiz in McGrattans Cafe Bar on Fitzwilliam Lane to help raise much needed funds for our on-going Guitars for Kids music education programme. Over the last 3 years the Bring Your Brain Power Table Quiz has become a popular, fun and brain tingling social occasion for quiz fans and MYF supporters alike.
This years event included prizes sponsored by some great local businesses including; Tropical Popical, Las Tapas De Lola, Zaragosa Dublin, Pacinos Restaurant, Halo Jewellery, Birdcage Bakery and the Shelbourne Hotel. As always we hope you, our loyal supporters will show them some love when you can. Like them on Facebook, share with friends and when you’ve got some spending money pop in and give them your business – they’ll be delighted to welcome and look after you!
Competition was tight but of course there can only ever be one winning team and this year the title of Table Quiz Champions goes to Team Table 4 who scored 70.5 points, just edging out Team 2 by 3 points. Congratulations to the winners and to everyone for taking part – you had a great night out, supported a super cause and helped our volunteers to raise €590. for music lessons for vulnerable children. The funds raised will be used for our Guitars for Kids programmes based in inner-city Dublin.
