A special Prince Tribute Night will be held in the wonderful Light House Cinema in Market Square, Smithfield on Friday May 6th with proceeds being donated to the Musical Youth Foundation. Come dressed in purple if you can!

Synopsis: Hollywood Babylon and Light House Cinema present a Prince tribute charity screening with all proceeds going to the children’s charity Musical Youth Foundation, who work to provide every child in Ireland with access to a musical education.

‘Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to get though this thing called life’ In April 2016 Prince left behind this earthly realm but every day he spent here he contributed to making the world an eminently more interesting, weird, and sexy place for us all to be in. Hollywood Babylon and Light House Cinema will pay tribute the only way they know how by throwing a party, a true celebration of all that this amazing other-worldy being brought to us. Thankfully we don’t need a movie of Prince’s life as we have Purple Rain, and it is amazing, so we’ll have that but we’ll also have so much more besides. There’ll be dancing, laughing, singing, there will be all the emotions, so come, let’s celebrate, let’s bear witness, LET’S GO CRAZY!
