Students from our music education programme in Cork City hosted on a classroom Christmas concert for teachers and parents to celebrate the festive season.

“Amazing to see what can be accomplished in just 3 weeks, or more precicely just a few hours of lessons from their dedicated teacher, Mr Stephen O’Dea.”said Chris Maher, Founder & CEO of the Musical Youth Foundation.

The instruments, which were funded by a grant from the ESB Energy for Generations Fund, will give over 300 students from St Maries the opportunity to try out the ukulele.

An after schools club is being set up, for which we are seeking to raise much needed donations. To support music education for children in Cork and elsewhere donate now and help to make a real and lasting change.
