Instruments Wanted

Donate your old, broken, unused or just unloved musical instruments to the Musical Youth Foundation children’s charity!

The MYF is looking for your old instruments – have you got a spare guitar, bass guitar or any other musical instrument that you’d like to pass on to a young child? Did you know that not every child in Ireland has access to music education? Maybe you’ve got a broken guitar or a drum just taking up space in the garage!? Why not donate it to the MYF and let us transform it as part of our Instrumental Art project? We’ve been working with some of Ireland’s best artists, musicians and designers to give old and broken instruments a new lease of life. Here’s a little sample video from our inaugural Instrumental Art Exhibition which took place back in 2012.  The exhibition attracted over 10,000 visitors and helped to generate invaluable awareness for the Musical Youth Foundation and the work we do to help at-risk children access our life-changing music education programmes.

To donate your old instruments just send us an email to info@musicalyouthfoundation.org with the instrument details and your location and we’ll follow up to arrange collection(Dublin & Commuter belt only).
