The Musical Youth Foundation is delighted to announce the opening of our latest ‘guitars for kids’ project in partnership with the Croke Park Community Fund.
Local children attending the Ballybough Youth Project in Dublin 3 have been offered the opportunity to sign up for free weekly guitar lesson, singing, songwriting and live performance workshops as a result of the generosity of the Croke Park Community Fund which has very generously provided a grant of €3,941. to the MYF.
Our Founder & CEO Chris Maher says: “we’re very grateful to the Croke Park Community Fund for recognising the huge benefit that music and music education can have on young people and for providing us with the funding to get this latest music education project up and running. The funding will cover the cost of providing instruments and weekly professional guitar lessons for almost 12 months.”
This brings the number of ‘guitars for kids’ projects operating in Dublin City Centre to four and paves the way for even more children to access music education and all its many associated life-changing benefits.
Thank You Croke Park Community Fund!
